Dave Scott and Ed Cash:
VietNow Volunteers of the Year
Our national convention is a time for recognizing VietNow achievements, and for honoring those who have done their best. No award is more important than the VietNow Volunteer of the Year award. This is the true "Heart of VietNow."

Ed Cash
Since becoming a member of the DuPage County Chapter in 1994, Ed has served as Sergeant at Arms, a director, and is currently the chapter secretary. Ed has also chaired the membership, flag sale, toy drive, and bylaws committees. He participates in all color guard and chapter functions. Ed is always willing to lend a helping hand, and to provide assistance when needed. Ed lives the motto of Veterans Helping Veterans.

Dave Scott
Over the last 20 years, this member has held every one of the Rockford Charter Chapter leadership positions. Many times. He always strives above and beyond what is expected. At parades, fundraisers, and POW/MIA events, he leads or lends a hand. Honesty, dependability, thoughtfulness, and caring make up his character. Dave is invaluable to the chapter. But his greatest asset is friendship, and we want to thank him for what he is: The best of the best.
